Tom Brown is responsible for the design and adaptive-reuse of numerous historically-significant commercial structures in central Wisconsin.

These include a number of restoration projects utilizing the Federal and State Historic Preservation tax-credit programs. Among these are the restoration of Sweet Treats, the BrickHaus & GlassHaus Taverns and the Mitchell Square Building.
